Tiramisu should be stored in the refrigerator, covered tightly with plastic wrap or an airtight lid. This prevents the dessert from absorbing other odors in the fridge and keeps it moist. Refrigerated tiramisu typically lasts 2-3 days for best taste.
If you’d like to keep tiramisu for longer, it can be frozen. Slice it into portions, wrap each piece in plastic wrap, and place them in an airtight container or freezer bag. Frozen tiramisu can last up to 1-2 months. To serve, thaw it in the fridge for several hours or overnight.
Since tiramisu contains mascarpone cheese and eggs, it should not be kept at room temperature for more than 1-2 hours, especially in warmer conditions, to avoid spoilage.
